Mycoritual started with a conversation about adaptogens.

That led to an interest in functional mushrooms, particularly Lion’s Mane and Reishi. As we looked more closely at the market, it became clear that product information is not always easy to assess. Sourcing can be unclear, information about processing can be limited, and some product claims go further than the available evidence or regulations allow.

This was particularly relevant to us in Switzerland, where food regulations are strict.

Our mushrooms are sourced from carefully selected EU suppliers, with information about their origin and processing. The finished products are tested for food safety, including heavy metals.

The mushrooms are processed using ultrasonic-assisted water extraction, resulting in a concentrated powder.

We also aim to keep the information around our products straightforward: what they are, how they are made, and what is known about them, without making unnecessary claims.

The first products are two mushroom extracts: Lion’s Mane and Reishi. They are designed to fit easily into a daily routine, whether mixed into coffee, tea, or another drink.

The packaging follows the same approach: practical, simple, and using lower-impact materials where possible.
